NeoHealth George Central. The first of the Garden Route.
Where the practice is, and how to get in
NeoHealth is in Suite 12, Prince Vintcent Square, on Gloucester Avenue in George Central. The simplest landmark is Mediclinic George: we are within walking distance of it, so if you can find the hospital you can find us.
There is undercover parking in Prince Vintcent Square. That matters more than it sounds when you are bringing a sick child or arriving in Garden Route rain, and it is the reason most patients do not arrive flustered.
The entrance is ramped and the practice is wheelchair accessible throughout, consulting rooms and bathroom included. If you use a wheelchair or a walker, or you are bringing someone who does, you will not meet a step anywhere between the parking and the doctor.
Coming from outside George
Patients travel to us from Wilderness, Mossel Bay, Knysna and across the Garden Route. If you are driving in, book a slot rather than walking in: walk-ins are fitted in around booked appointments, and a wait is a different proposition when you have an hour's drive home afterwards.
For follow-ups, repeat scripts and anything that does not need an examination, a telehealth consultation saves the trip entirely and is available anywhere in South Africa, in line with HPCSA telemedicine guidelines.
Opening hours
Consulting hours are 09:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and 09:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Saturday mornings exist because a working week does not always leave room for a weekday appointment. We also accept walk-in patients during consulting hours.
