“Dr Chellan has been my primary care provider for the past couple of years, and I have always known him to be thorough, knowledgeable, and deeply caring. His attention to detail and excellent approach to patient care have consistently stood out. Most recently, we were especially grateful for the care he provided during our son’s consultation, as well as the thoughtful follow-up afterwards to check that he was doing better. That kind of attentiveness and genuine concern means a great deal. I would highly recommend him.”

“Exceptional and personalised medical care for our whole family. From being received warmly by the reception through thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans by both Drs Chellan and Lakay. You get included in your treatment plan and that makes whatever ailment you may have already feel like you conquered it. Both Drs are very patient with kids as well and that also eases a lot of anxiousness associated with drs visits so much more.”

“I recently consulted with Dr Lakay regarding persistent fatigue and low energy levels. From the outset, she demonstrated a high level of professionalism, clinical competence, and attentiveness. Her ability to assess my symptoms thoroughly and arrive at an accurate diagnosis within a short period of time was truly impressive. Dr Lakay’s approach is both compassionate and patient-centered. She took the time to listen carefully, ensuring that I felt heard, understood, and reassured throughout the consultation. This level of care and dedication is both commendable and reassuring. In my view, this practice is among the most outstanding in the George, Garden Route area. The standard of care provided is exceptional, and the services remain accessible and reasonably priced.”

Why we only show Google reviews
Every review on this page is pulled live from our Google Business Profile. We do not write testimonials, we do not select the flattering ones, and we do not host patient quotes on our own server where they could be edited.
That is a deliberate choice. A review you can verify yourself on Google, attached to a real account, is worth more than a wall of anonymous praise on a practice website. If you want to check what patients actually say, the honest place to look is Google, not here.
If something went wrong
A public review is not the only way to tell us, and often it is not the most useful one. If a visit did not go the way it should have, we would rather hear it directly and be able to look into it properly.
Use the contact form and select Complaint as the enquiry type, or phone reception and ask to speak to one of the doctors. We reply to written enquiries within one business day.
You also have the right to raise a concern with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, the statutory regulator for medical practitioners. Telling us first does not remove that right, and we would not ask you to give it up.
What we do with feedback
Feedback about waiting times, billing and how a consultation felt goes to the doctors, not into a drawer. Several things about how the practice runs, including how long a standard consultation is booked for, came from patients saying something.
We cannot discuss any individual's clinical details in a public reply, so if you see a short response to a detailed review on Google, that is why. Confidentiality does not lapse because a conversation moved somewhere public.
