How long does nomination take?
Nominations aren't backdated; mid-month changes activate on the 1st of the following month, and in practice activation can take up to a month (effective the 1st or 15th). Nominate now, before you need a doctor.
Can I get my chronic medicine from you directly?
On KeyCare Plus, yes, chronic medicine on the approved list is dispensed by your nominated GP if they dispense, and we are a dispensing practice. On Start and Start Regional, chronic medicine runs via the plan's pharmacy/state channels (Start Regional: via your nominated regional GP if dispensing).
What happens after 15 GP visits on KeyCare?
From the 15th consultation, Discovery requires authorisation, we obtain it for you.
